1. She texts back quickly

If a girl texts back quickly, she likes talking to you.

It makes sense right, the faster she replies to you, the faster she hears from you again.

Ideally, you and her can text back and forth in real-time.

Let’s use the screenshot from one of my mentees as an example.

It only takes her seconds to reply. A good sign.

2. She uses a lot of emojis

Emojis add extra expression to her texts.

They are an easy way for her to show how she feels.

If she doesn’t like you, she won’t go to the trouble of adding emojis to her texts.

Look at the screenshot example. Do you see how the texts would be less flirty without the emojis?

3. She hints at being together

If you see her doing this in your conversation… she likes you!

Any texts that paint a picture of the two of you together, are a good sign.

In the screenshot example below, the girl is trying so hard to belong.

My student was afraid he was being friendzoned here:

Wrong. She’s simply trying to be a part of his life.

Which becomes extra clear in her next text.

4. She shows emotion

The more emotions she shows while texting you, the better.

Even if they aren’t all good emotions. But that’s another story.

Someone who has no interest in you, will keep responses short and shallow.

Only around people that she likes, will she open up more.

If she shows your her feelings, she feels safe around you and wants to connect more deeply.

5. She double texts you

Quick question, how often have you received a text like this:

Oh, you haven’t?

No worries, no one has.

It’s just too risky for girls to put themselves out there like this. Vulnerable to getting their feelings hurt when you reject them.

So instead, they try to show interest in more subtle ways.

One way girls will do this is by double texting.

A double text is when someone sends you a message, while the last text already came from her side.

Just like in this screenshot example:

Honestly, do you think she cares what airline he flies with?

She doesn’t. She just wants to talk to the guy.

6. She sends a lot of text

Another clear sign is the VOLUME of text she sends you.

The girl who double-texted in the last tip, also texts A LOT.

We also see a sign that we already saw earlier. Emojis.

7. She sends you photos

Photos are often more personal than words.

Did it show what she was eating? Was she shopping and asking for advice? Did she just show herself?

All of them have a different meaning, but all of them are good news.

A picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Bonus points if you didn’t ask for a photo, she just sent it. A clear text sign a girl likes you.

Even better is when the photo shows herself. More on that in the next sign.

8. She sends you selfies

One of the clearest signs that a girl is into you.

Whether it’s a selfie or a photo someone else took, if it clearly shows GER, that’s a good sign.

A selfie past midnight. Love is in the air.

A selfie shows more interest than other photos.

Why?

9. She texts you late at night

Just how clear this sign is, depends on the amount of alcohol the other person has in their system.

The true meaning of drunk texts… that’s a topic for another time. But one thing’s for sure: Getting late-night texts, is a good thing.

What is she doing late at night? She’s either with friends or she’s alone at home, maybe in bed.

If she’s alone and thinking of you: great!

If she’s with friends and thinking of you: also great!

10. She changes her profile picture

I just told you that getting unsolicited photos is good news.

It shows so much interest. And some girls know this.

They also know that showing too much interest can scare guys off.

But they want you to see their newest super hot and cute photo because they want to impress you.

So what do they do?

Almost any texting app allows you to set a profile photo. If a girl changes her profile photo while talking to you… that’s a text sign she likes you.

(Unless they are talking to their crush while also talking to you, and they change it for them, and not for you.)

(Sorry, just messing with you.)

Not only can you use this to make her see your hot new pic without having to send it to her…

…you can also change your profile picture in hopes of her restarting the conversation with you. Or just to create passive attraction to everyone on your texting app.

Sneaky but effective.

11. She invests a lot

It’s pretty obvious, but some men don’t realize it.

When someone sends you super long texts, then they are interested in you. If they repeatedly do this, and you have already known each other quite long, then she might even be in love.

The more texts she blasts your way, the more she’s into you.

Remember, in the end, it’s all about the amount of time, energy, and effort someone invests in you.

Here’s an example of a woman on Tinder investing too much in me:

My Tinder match is onto something.

The huge amount of time she invested in typing that thesis, did scare me off.

Just like your long texts can scare off women.

Here’s what I thought of this woman, and what women will think of you when you bombard them with your essay:

“Why would this person take the time and effort to tell me all this? Why are they so invested in this conversation already? Maybe they have no one to talk to?”

12. She makes words longer

We already agreed that more is better when it comes to signs of a girl liking you.

That’s still true on the smallest scale.

Because what if she doesn’t send you long messages.

What subtle text signs a girl likes you can you spot in short messages?

More is still better. Even on a small scale.

Like this meme jokingly points out:

Here’s an example straight out of my phone:

Sometimes, her using more letters, syllables, punctuation marks, or emojis, equals her liking you more.

Same goes with her laughing at your texts. Let’s look at it in the next sign.

13. She laughs at everything you say

Her laughing at your texts, is a sign. But also how much she laughs.

How shitty does it feel when you text someone you like and she hits you back with a dry:

I know you’ve been there, and you didn’t love it.

But would you still find it a shitty reply if she replies with a:

Doesn’t feel quite as bad, does it?

It’s funny how nature do that. You think it don’t be like it is but it do.

The longer her laugh, the better.

14: She initiates contact

Here’s possibly the clearest signs that she wants to get to know you.

As long as it’s not a fist fight, you’ll be happy if the other person goes first.

The one initiating the conversation shows interest.

Why would you talk to someone you don’t feel like talking to?

If you notice someone regularly hits you up…

…then rest assured this person likes you.

Onto a sign that’s a bit rarer.

15. She teases you

Teasing the misses is asking for kisses.

Truth.

The opposite is also true. When a girl teases you, she’s showing interest.

She wants to evoke attention and emotion.

So next time someone teases you, smile. And when the opportunity presents itself, tease back. You’re doing well!

Teasing back and forth is the essence of flirting.

When a girl gives you a nickname, especially a teasing one, that’s a clear text sign a girl likes you.

16. She gives you a nickname

Every couple ever has nicknames for their lover.

Whether a nickname is teasing or sweet, it’s a good thing.

So next time she calls you:

It’s a texting sign that she likes you.

17. She likes your posts on Instagram

If he often likes your photos, watches your stories, and maybe even comments on your photos…

…she probably likes you.

Careful though! it’s not because someone likes one of your photos every now and then, that they are mad about you. Especially younger people tend to like and interact more on social media than those who are older.

However, if someone likes every post you upload, then chances are high that this person likes you.

This is especially true if you upload photos, videos, and stories that show yourself.

Logic 101: if someone likes images showing YOU, they might like YOU.

19. She brings up deep topics

The subject of your conversation reveals a great deal.

Are you casually exchanging greetings and asking each other how their day is? Hmm, not the best.

Are you talking about past crushes or your deepest desires in life? That’s quite a big text sign she likes you.

And that brings us to the last sign I got for you today.

20. She texts you when you come online

Ever received a text message just as you checked your app?

What a coincidence…

…or is it?

On some apps, you can see who is online and who isn’t.

In other words, girls can see you pop online and think:

“If I text him right now, I’ll probably get a reply right away because I know he is checking the app at this very moment.”

So, is it really a coincidence?

Or does she find you fun enough to text?
