Why are you getting no likes on Tinder?
If you’re not getting likes on Tinder, it could be due to a variety of reasons. Here’s a quick breakdown of why your profile might be underperforming:
- You’re swiping too much. When you swipe right on everyone, Tinder’s algorithm may think you’re not being genuine or selective. This can lead to your profile being shown less to others, as the app might assume you’re just looking for anything
- You’ve broken the guidelines. Violating Tinder’s rules, such as inappropriate behavior, could result in your account being flagged or banned.
- Your distance settings are too small. A narrow distance range limits your potential matches. Try increasing it to get more visibility.
- You’re not active. Tinder likes to keep its users happy, so if you log in infrequently, your profile might not be shown since the algorithm thinks you might not show them a good time.
- You’re shadowbanned. If Tinder has flagged your account for suspicious behavior (like repeatedly deleting and remaking your profile), it might hide your profile from other users without notifying you.
- You have an undesirable profile. A weak bio, low-quality photos, or lack of effort can make your profile unappealing. Revamp it to catch more attention.

Tinder rewards users who engage with new features, so don’t be afraid to try them out. The more you interact with the app, the more it’ll favor you.
Stay active
The more active you are, the better your chances. Responding quickly to messages and engaging regularly tells Tinder you’re a serious user and keeps your profile visible.
Be online at peak times
Tinder shows profiles higher in the stack when users are active at the same time. Aim to use the app between 6-8 PM when most people are swiping.

While not necessary, upgrading to Tinder Platinum can get you extra visibility. You’ll get features like the ability to message before matching and your likes will get priority.

How interesting is this bio? Doesn’t this instantly make you want to know more about this person? Here’s another example.
Slightly sarcastic. Will debate you about which Harry Potter house is superior. Weekend plans usually involve tacos. And let’s not talk about the time I accidentally spilled coffee on my laptop.
